What to Know Before Booking

READ BEFORE BOOKING

Please take a moment to read this before scheduling your appointment.

Rosie’s Beauty Lounge is a small, one-woman studio with limited availability. These policies protect your time, Rosie’s time, and the flow of the day for every client. They are firm, consistent, and may not be the right fit for everyone.

Arriving Late

Please arrive on time.

At 8 minutes late, the appointment is cancelled and 50% of the service is charged.

  • 2nd late arrival: charged 100%
  • 3rd late arrival: charged 100% and you will be blocked from future booking

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to hold your appointment.

If you cancel or reschedule after the 48-hour cutoff, the deposit is automatically forfeited. This is standard in the beauty industry and helps prevent schedule gaps that other clients cannot fill.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

A 48-hour notice is required for all changes.

  • Under 48 hours → 50% fee
  • After 3 late cancels/reschedules → prepay (non-refundable) required for all future visits

Clients may cancel or reschedule anytime before the 48-hour cutoff through Setmore. Rosie does not manually book, cancel, or move appointments.

Chronic Rescheduling / “Camping on Spots”

Please only book an appointment if you are confident you can keep it.

Frequent canceling or rescheduling — even with plenty of notice — blocks other clients from scheduling and often creates empty spots that can’t be filled. If you need a lot of flexibility or are unsure you can make your appointment, a larger salon may be a better fit.

Reminders

Setmore sends two automatic reminders:

  • 3 days before
  • 1 day before
    Clients are responsible for remembering their appointment.

No-Show Policy

A no-show results in being permanently blocked from booking future appointments.

If a true emergency occurs, the fastest way to reach Rosie is by text at 512-750-1933.

No Guests / No Children

For privacy and safety, only the scheduled client may be in the room.

Service Animals

Trained guide dogs and legitimate support animals with verifiable documentation are welcome if they are calm and under control.

Managing Your Appointments

Clients are fully in charge of booking, canceling, and rescheduling through Setmore. Rosie does not search for openings, add clients manually, or adjust appointments on your behalf.

Card on File

A valid card must remain on file to hold appointments.

Removing your card will automatically cancel all future bookings.
