Hair Length
For the smoothest results, your hair needs to be about ½ inch long — usually 3–4 weeks of growth since your last shave.
Think: the shortest hairs should look like tiny eyelashes.
If they’re shorter than that, the wax can’t catch them and you won’t get that dreamy smooth finish.
If your hair is longer than 1 inch, go ahead and trim to around 1 inch.
(For licensing and hygiene reasons, I can’t trim for you — and please be careful not to trim too short!)
Before You Arrive
A little prep goes a long way:
And please arrive freshly showered — clean skin is happy skin.
If you’d like to freshen up once you get here, I have personal wipes in the studio (as long as you’re on time — I don’t want to rush your wax).
If It’s Your First Bikini Wax
It’s so normal to feel nervous — everyone does the first time.
I take things gently, working side to side, starting at the bikini line and checking in with you often. You’re fully in control of how far we go.
Here are the levels, in case you want to move through them gradually:
If you ever decide “that’s enough for today,” I’ll just tidy the line and keep things simple.
You’re in good hands — I’ve been waxing for many years, and I’ll talk you through everything with kindness and clarity.
