The policies at Rosie’s Beauty Lounge are strict, and may not work for everyone. To keep everything running smoothly, to protect the business and other clients, these policies are non-negotiable. If you need the option to continually move or cancel appointments, or if you are unable to arrive right at your scheduled appointment time, you will want to find a larger waxing salon with more flexible policies. Please read through the policies below prior to booking your first appointment to see if they will work for you.
At the 8 minute mark after your appointment was scheduled to begin, your appointment will be cancelled, and you will be charged 50% of the cost of the scheduled service(s). This is necessary because there will be a client with an appointment after yours, and I will not have adequate time to complete your service without running into their appointment. One late client can cause a "domino lateness effect" which can inconvenience all remaining clients.
If you are late a second time, you will be charged 100% of the cost of your scheduled services. If it happens a third time, you will be charged 100% of the cost of your scheduled services and you will no longer be able to book any future appointments.
I require a 48 hour cancellation/rescheduling notice for all appointments. When a client fails to cancel or reschedule an appointment, the opportunity to fill that appointment has been lost, and clients waiting to receive a service are unable to fill this empty slot. Late cancellations/rescheduling will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service(s). After three cancellations of reschedules, clients will be required to pre-pay (non-refundable) for any future services.
Every client receives three reminder messages before their appointment -(at 48 hours, 24 hours, and 1 hour prior to appointment time). There is no legitimate reason to no-call/no-show. In the event of an emergency, I am reachable by e-mail or through Instagram message, A no-show will result in being banned from booking future services.
Waxing is not a spectator sport. I have a strict one person policy.
Guide dogs and support animals are welcome in the Lounge provided they are calm, trained, and have verifiable documentation.
Clients are able to sign into the booking site and can reschedule or cancel their appointments as long as it is before the 48 cutoff. Failure to cancel or move an appointment before the 48 hour cutoff will result in an automatic charge of 50% of the cost of the service(s) scheduled. Chronic canceling and rescheduling will not be tolerated as it makes it difficult for other clients seeking appointment slots and creates holes in the schedule that may not be able to be filled. Clients who have cancelled or rescheduled their appointments three times will be required to pre-pay (non-refundable) for all future services.
A valid credit card must be kept on file in order to hold your appointment for you. Unlinking your card will result in any future appointments being cancelled.
